About Mitch Schauer , creator of "Angry Beavers"

Mitch Schauer

Mitch Schauer is a multi-talented creator, producer, writer, and director with decades of experience in animation. He is best known as the creator and executive producer of Nickelodeon’s hit series The Angry Beavers, where he wrote scripts, composed music, and directed voices for all 62 episodes. Under Mitch’s guidance, the show consistently earned high ratings and developed a dedicated fanbase, standing alongside Nickelodeon classics like Rugrats.

Before The Angry Beavers, Mitch made significant contributions to beloved series such as Bobby’s World, where he worked as a writer and director, helping shape the quirky humor and heartfelt stories that made the show a favorite among kids and families. He also worked on 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo, adding to the long legacy of the Scooby-Doo franchise with fresh storytelling and spooky fun.


Mitch earned an Emmy Award for his work producing the cult classic Freakazoid!, showcasing his knack for combining zany humor with clever storytelling. His creative talents extend into the Marvel universe, where he contributed to animated projects including Super Hero Squad and Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., and directed two Marvel movies for Disney+.

Most recently, Mitch completed work on the Netflix CG animated feature The Soccer / Football Movie, demonstrating his versatility across animation styles and formats.


With a career marked by creativity, humor, and a deep understanding of character-driven stories, Mitch Schauer remains a highly respected and influential figure in the world of animation.
